《解説》柳下さんと哲さんとのコラボによる作品。本ショップでは光悦に続いて２回目となる。柳下さんに織部の十文字井戸を紹介したいので手頃な井戸はありませんかとお尋ねしたら、「せっかくなのでそれ用に新しく焼きますよ」といって下さった。光悦の「雪峰」のときは漆用の溝を用意してくださったが、今回の継ぎ目はあんなに太くないので、山本さんは完形を割らねばならない。螺鈿に使う電動カッターで何とかしのいだが、今度は割った破片をくっつけるのにまたひと苦労。「よほどの変人でないとこんな仕事はしない」とは哲さんの弁。本体が焼きあがったとき、コロナも小康状態だったので、作品を受け取りがてら久々に一杯やろうということになった。せっかくだから哲さんも呼ぶことにして、三人でやきもの談義に花を咲かせた。十文字井戸については以前ブログで紹介した吉野桃李さんの井戸で哲さんにお願いしている。見事な金繕いで本歌とは別の魅力を湛えた作品に仕上がった。「実際の「十文字」の継ぎはかなり粗い」というのが、そのときのふたりの共通認識だった。柳下さんの井戸の枯れ具合も上々だし、今回はできるだけ本物に近づけて「粗い」継ぎを、とお願いしたら、「そっちのほうがよっぽど難しいのに」と哲さん。だが、この方、難しいことを前にすると俄然燃える質だ。案の定、できあがってきた作品は期待通りだった。この作品では金ではなく、朱を黒に塗り重ねる。使い込めば本歌の粗い感じにますます近づくだろう。

《十文字井戸（the cross ido》Ido tea boul "須弥(shumi)" has another name of "jumonji(cross)". It is said that the ido tea bowl that Oribe had was too big, so he broke and scraped and then reconnected it with lacquer. lt has this alias because this cracked mark looks like a “cross”. However, this story is doubtful. If you want to cut it down to make it smaller, it should be more like a rhombus than a circle. In addition, it is very difficult to break a bowl into such a beautiful cross. Therefore, Oribe aimed from the beginning. Kintsugi(repair by lacquer and gold powder)'s original purpose is to repair broken vessels. Japanese tea-masters saw the beauty there. From that time on, gold repair became a positive expression made by accidentally and lacquer art in pottery. Dividing resolutely the masterpiece, Oribe abolished the contingency and made it an inevitable expression. It is certainly a punishing act. However, that is exactly the reason why Oribe is sublime. In collaboration with Mr. Yanashita and Mr. Yamamoto, this design was realized.

《十文字井戸（l'ido de croix)》Le bol à thé d'ido "須弥(Sumi)", a un autre nom de "jumonji (croix)". On dit que le bol à thé d'ido qu'Oribe avait était trop grand, alors il l'a cassé, gratté, puis reconnecté avec de la laque. Il a cet alias parce que la marque fissurée ressemble à une croix. Cependant, cette histoire est doutable. Si on veut la couper pour la réduire, elle devrait ressembler davantage à un losange qu'à un cercle. De plus, il est très difficile de casser un bol comme ça. Ainsi Oribe visait cela depuis le début. Le but originaire de Kintsugi(réparer avec de la laque et de la poudre d'or) est de réparer les poteries cassés. Les maîtres du thé au japon y ont vu une beauté. À partir de ce moment-là, la réparation d'or est devenue une expression positive. En divisant la chef-d'œuvre, Oribe a aboli le hasard et en faire une expression inevitable. C'est certainement un acte punitif. Cependant, c'est exactement la raison pour laquelle Oribe est sublime. En collaboration de M. Yanashita et de M. Yamamoto, cette conception a été realisée.
